Possessing a well-rounded background in both the private and public sectors, Heather offers strong clerical and entrepreneurial skills to SMC Insurance Agency. As Administrative Assistant, Heather handles the telephone calls and directs individuals to the appropriate contact in an effective and timely manner.
In addition to her duties for SMC Insurance Agency, Heather oversees the administrative responsibilities associated with SMC Business Councils members’ insurance needs. She processes payment of insurance premiums for members; handles renewals for sole proprietors’ benefits; and, manages any changes to members’ insurance. She also coordinates member networking events; distributes SMC Business Councils information packets; and, responds to service requests from members.
Heather is involved in her community by serving in her daughter’s PTO, formerly as President, and now as Treasurer.
